Al Jalil Social Welfare Association implemented a hair dressing vocational training for 15 Palestinian refugee girls from Al Jalil Camp/Baalbeck- Lebanon. The selected girls, all between 15 – 24 years old, do not have any kind of life skill. Many of them have dropped out of school.
The training is divided into two parts:
– A theoretical part, learning about life skills, leadership, and human rights.
– A practical part, with vocational training in hair dressing and makeup.
At the end of the program, each girl received certificates approved by the Ministry of labour in Lebanon and a bag that include hair dressing and makeup materials to start their own work, at least from homes.
