Youth Vision Society established an emergency committee made up from five partner institutions. The committee consists of 25 people including psychotherapists and social workers to provide psychological and social support to the vulnerable. YVS have also distributed hygiene kits and food baskets to The Beach (Shati) Camp, which is one of the most densely populated, marginalized areas in the Gaza Strip.

YVS paid visits to a number of civil society hospitals in order to get acquainted with their primary medical needs in regard to Covid-19, so that they can better address these needs. Thus, YVS keeps on its appeals which contribute to bringing efforts together and responding to interventions that address other consequences stemmed from the crisis in the areas of food security, protection, water, sanitation and hygiene as well as raising awareness.

Youth Vision Society (YVS) in Gaza is a new partner in the PCO-program. YVS is a civil non-profit association in Gaza.
